What is a salad dressing ?

salad dressing
noun
A cold sauce added to salad to give flavour

A salad dressing is traditionally a cold sauce added to a salad to enhance the flavour.

It is often a mixture of oils, vinegars,           herbs and spices.

Why you should make your own salad dressing?

I love a good salad and often change up the taste of a classic salad simply by changing my salad dressing.

Whilst the salad dressing helps to add flavour to the vegetables in my salad, it also helps to enhance the absorption of any fat- soluble nutrients in the Ingredients.

Not only is a homemade salad dressings tasty and healthy, it is also fresh and doesn’t contain the amount of preservatives found in a bottle of dressing in your supermarket.

Making your own is also often cheaper and really easy.
