I love making my own …it’s easy and you can truly adapt the dough to any theme or occasion with sligh variations, scents or colouring.
Below are 8 great playdough recipes to try with the kids these holidays.
Cornstarch Conditioner Playdough
You will need:
1 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup conditioner
Method:
Mix the cornstarch and Conditioner in a bowl
knead until it has the right consistency

Add a few drops of colour or scent whilst mixing.
Applesauce Playdough
You will need:
2 cups cornstarch
1 cup applesauce
Method:
Mix the cornstarch and applesauce in a bowl
Knead until it has the right consistency

Lotion Playdough
You will need:
1 cup cornstarch
1/ 2 cup body lotion
1/2 tsp oil

Yogurt playdough
You will need:
2-3 cups cornstarch
1 cup yoghurt
Method:

Marshmallow Playdough
You will need:
1 cup marshmallows
1 -2 cups cornstarch
2 tsp coconut oil
Method:
Melt the marshmallows with the coconut oil in the microwave
Add to bowl
Mix the cornstarch in slowly
Knead until it has the right consistency

Oats Playdough
You will need:
1 cup Iats flour
1/2 cup water
1 tsp oil
Method:
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl
Slowly add water, whilst stiring
Knead until it has the right consistency

Jelly-O scented dough
You will need:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 packet of jelly
1 tsp oil
Method:
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl
Add oil and water.
Stir until smooth.

1 cup of clean play sand
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup of warm water
1 tsp oil
