Blouberg beach hosts International kites flying ahead of the Cape Town International Kite Festival

Yesterday, we attended the Media fly in for Cape Mental Health’s annual Cape Town International Kite Festival be8ng held this weekend at Youngsfield Military Base in Ottery.

Several International kite flyers had gathered on Dolphin Beach and lit the sky with colour as they flew their larger than life kites in the sky.

Cape Town boasted the perfect weather with a light breeze, while media and local residents were treated to beautiful creations dancing in the wind.

The Cape Town International Kite Festival is one of our favourite events.
