Chilli puff pastry art

Presentation is everything, and my extra savory contribution to the Today pastry art competition is inspired by the beauty in my garden.

I love experimenting in the kitchen, especially puff pastry, as it’s easy to use and increadibly versatile.

I can’t wait to suprise my family with this Chilli masterpiece on the Easter table. Who knows they just may call me Picasso from now on.

How to make a Chilli inspired puff pastry bite

If you’d like to add this to your table you will need :

Ingredients

  • Today’s puff pastry
  • Assortment of chillies
  • Baby tomatoes
  • Onion
  • Fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmasan cheese ( optional)

Method

Spread out your puff pastry on a baking tray

Sprinkle with salt and pepper . For a more cheesy taste you could use some parmasan cheese sprinkled over.

Cut your tomatoes, onions and chillies and decorate the pastry to resemble flowers.

I used the fresh parsley as grass.

Cook on 180° C until golden or airfry on high for 10 minutes
