For dog-lovers, the heart-warming true-life story of a dog called Arthur is currently on the circuit. Don’t miss Arthur the King in which an adventure racer (Mark Wahlberg) adopts a stray dog named Arthur to join him in an epic endurance race.

Everybody’s favourite martial arts wielding, noodle loving panda is back on the big screen from 21 March. Kung Fu Panda 4 is the perfect movie for the whole family to enjoy. After Po is tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace, he needs to find and train a new Dragon Warrior, while a wicked sorceress plans to re-summon all the master villains whom Po has vanquished to the spirit realm.
From 22 March to 01 April, Po will also be making an appearance at select Ster-Kinekor cinemas in Johannesburg and Cape Town, starting at Eastgate and ending at Cape Gate, giving fans the opportunity to meet their favourite Dragon Warrior character.

The larger-than-life Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, releases in Ster-Kinekor’s IMAX cinemas nationally on Friday 29 March. The film will also be released in Ster-Kinekor’s luxurious Cine Prestige cinemas, and D-Box seats in select cinemas so you can feel every powerful blow, in addition to other Ster-Kinekor 2D cinemas around the country. And, for those who can’t wait, there will also be a sneak screening in IMAX at 20:00 on 28 March.
The epic new film delves further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.

The winner of this year’s Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film, The Boy and The Heron, directed by Hayao Miyazaki and Toshio Suzuki, will be released in select cinemas from 19 April. This critically acclaimed film centres around the psychological and emotional growth of a young man, Mahito Maki, and is a semi-autobiographical adventure fantasy about life, death, and creation from the mind of Miyazaki.
After losing his mother during the war, young Mahito moves to his family’s estate in the countryside. There, a series of mysterious events lead him to a secluded and ancient tower, home to a mischievous gray heron. The English version features the voices of Christian Bale, Dave Bautista, Gemma Chan, Willem Dafoe, Karen Fukuhara, Mark Hamill, Robert Pattinson and Florence Pugh.
