Epic Tails … a review

This morning we were invited by UIP Africa to attend the screening of Epic Tails.

About Epic tails

EPIC TAILS invites you to embark on a colourful journey through Ancient Greece with Pattie, a young super smart and adventurous mouse, and her cat companion.

Life in Yolcos, a beautiful and prosperous port city in ancient Greece, is peaceful until the population is threatened by the wrath of Poseidon. Pattie and her companion help the now-aged Jason and his Argonauts in their quest to save the city. Along the way, they confront the most bizarre and dangerous creatures from Greek mythology.

EPIC TAILS is an hilarious, inventive, animated comedy adventure for the whole family with stunning visuals and heartwarming moments.

A trip to The movies

I ran a competition on my social media this week to giveaway 4 sets of family tickets and was invited to bring some family and friends along to the screening as well.

We met at Ster kinekor in Cavendish centre and the excitement was high as the kids gathered their popcorn, coldrink and easter eggs in preparation for the Epic adventure.

It’s always so great to meet up with my readers and followers and Hamish was super excited to have so many of his friends along with him.

My review

What a cute movie. We loved the story line of Epic Tails.
I love that the morals taught were of teamwork, forgiveness and courage.
The ancient Greek setting was beautifully depicted and it was just the right amount of action and plot twists to keep Hamish glued to the screen.
The animation is really good.
A great family movie and reminder that bravery comes in all sizes.

Final notes

Epic Tails opens in cinemas on Friday, 28 April.
