This book, hit home for me for so many reasons. As older parents we thought we were done parenting small kids when in our 40’s we discovered we were expecting Hamish ….we were not prepared and even though I don’t really think any mom or dad is ever truly prepared for parenthood, we really had to ask some hard questions. Would we change anything……not a minute!
And so too, David and his wife found themselves as older parents, thinking their family complete, when they discovered they were pregnant.
His true life account of their journey, his parenting, and his humour make this a fabulous book of wisdom, emotion and brutal honestly.
