What do moms really want for mothers day?
Honestly…..
Not another household electrical appliance, macaroni necklace or last minute gift from dad, who was reminded about Mother’s day on Sunday as his expectant wife glared at him silently plotting his worst Father’s day ever!
No!
Moms, are simple creatures. We don’t need much, and time, effort and our family around us usually completes the list of what makes a great Mother’s day.
However
We still love to be spoilt! So, if you are buying or making a gift, a small item that speaks to your moms personality, hobbies or tastes is usually a good idea.
And
To help you out, I’ve rounded up a list of some great Mother’s Day initiatives at local shopping centres so that the kids and Dads have no reason not to spoil mom.

We are huge Lego fans in our home and Lego Certified stores are inviting kids to come in-store and make something for mom.

For the moms who love pretty scented items, Willobridge Villiage are inviting moms to craft their own linen spray on the 11 May from 10am – 1pm
6. Cape Gate Lifestyle Precinct
Do you have the key to your mom’s heart? At Cape Gate Lifestyle Precinct you can pick a key and unlock a special gift gor mom.
Only avaliable on 11 May from 10am – 12pm
7. Cavendish Square
Spoil mom with a Makeup Master class led by Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Enjoy a relaxing hand massage from Jo Malone London and learn some beauty secrets from Woolworths.

To claim your gift take your photo at the photo booth. Upload to social media tagging N1 City Mall & Signature Cosmetics and Fragrances. ( you’ll need to provide proof of posting)
10. Zevenwacht Mall
Celebrate Mother’s Day in style at Zevenwacht Mall’s pamper day corner on 11 May from 10am – 1pm at the Mr Price court.
Indulge in a pampering extravaganza with luxurious treats and fabulous prizes. Enjoy a quick makeover, complimentary coffee and expert beauty advice.

11. Canal Walk shopping centre
At Canal Walk you can have your photo taken with mom and get your gifts wrapped for free this weekend.

Spend R300 at any store and recieve a free branded gift for mom on 11 May from 10am
13. Longbeach mall
Make memories with mom at Longbeach mall. Visit the selfie wall at the centre court. Take a photo, upload it to social media tagging Longbeach mall and you could win a R1000 voucher.
