I’m so incredibly honoured to be nominated for this blog award — it’s a truly humbling moment and a privilege to be recognised alongside such talented, creative, and deserving creators.
The nomination alone is a meaningful acknowledgment, and I’m very grateful to be part of a community that continues to inspire and elevate one another.
About the Purposefully influencing Awards
The Purposefully Influencer Awards for 2025 recognize outstanding South African content creators, influencers, and digital artists who have made a significant impact on the social media landscape over the past year.
By leveraging their distinct talents and platforms, these individuals have not only elevated brand awareness but also driven positive change, encouraged community engagement, and utilized social media as a force for good.
This years theme is Unapologetically you recognizing the importance of staying true to yourself .
With over 3000 nominees in 30 different categories, judges had their work cut out for them chosing the nominees.

Award nominee ceremony and media briefing
On the 26 July at the luxurious Radisson Blu Hotel in Durban, nominees and media gathered for a wonderful Purposefully influencing awards nominee ceremony and media briefing with Purposefully influencing awards founder, Pearl Holdstock.
The day was an exciting celebration hosted by red carpet host, Zowee Shange; Award ceremony programme director, Kajal Maharaj.
Guest speakers, Forward Durban Founder, Adele Benvie and Robin Keldulder, the chief auditor and principal judge of the Purposefully influencing awards, addressed the crowd.
Purposefully influencing awards ambassadors 2024 Amanda Masibisi Mnguni and Melanie Jane Martin were also in attendance to enjoy the talented entertainment and delicious high tea event.
Purposefully influencing Award ceremony
This year is the second year of the Purposefully Influencing Awards and the award ceremony will be hosted on the 14 November 2025 at Radisson Blu Hotel in Durban.
