OLD SCHOOL

TRI-NATIONS TOUR

After more than a decade of shaping the South African music landscape with his unmistakable warmth, sincerity, and indie-folk charm, beloved singer-songwriter MAJOZI is stepping into one of the most exciting chapters of his career: the OLD SCHOOL TRI-NATIONS TOUR, which will see him perform across South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia – with New Zealand and Australia marking his first-ever shows in those countries.
This major international milestone comes on the back of an extraordinary year. In 2025 alone, MAJOZI sold out the iconic Baxter Theatre in Cape Town with his intimate Songs & Stories show, toured across Europe with Easy Freak, performed in Abu Dhabi, and released his tender, fan-favourite single YOU AND I while enchanting audiences from Germany to Ireland to the UK. His global footprint continues to grow organically, powered by authenticity, gratitude, and a deep connection to the people who listen to his music.
The OLD SCHOOL TRI-NATIONS tour is, at its heart, a celebration of that connection; a chance to revisit the songs that shaped his career while creating brand-new memories in completely new territories.
“I’ve always believed music is a kind of time travel,” MAJOZI says. “These songs hold pieces of who I was and who I’ve become. Taking them to places I’ve never performed before feels like opening a new chapter with old friends.”
The tour spans three nations, beginning with a festive run along the South African coast before expanding into a landmark debut in New Zealand and Australia.

With each performance, MAJOZI will weave together uplifting melodies, heartfelt lyricism, and the stories behind the songs – an approach inspired by the overwhelming response to his Songs & Stories format earlier this year. Fans repeatedly asked about the meaning behind his music, and he felt compelled to create spaces where songs and storytelling exist side by side. “It’s almost therapeutic for me,” he shares. “I’ve moved from one season to the next so quickly that I never really stopped to appreciate how far the journey has taken me. Now I get to share those moments and hear what the songs have meant to other people too.”
This upcoming tour will highlight the nostalgia and emotional resonance audiences have come to love, including hits like Darling, Fire, Waiting, deeper cuts like The River, and newer favourites like Time Traveller, Safe in the Sound, and YOU AND I. With each show, MAJOZI hopes to create a space where vulnerability, joy, reflection, and community meet in one unforgettable night.
Fans can also expect fresh stories and never-before-shared memories from the road, from his recent European festival appearances to late-night writing sessions in unfamiliar cities to the surreal feeling of stepping onto international stages he once only dreamed of. “I still have moments where I look around and think, ‘Wow… this is really happening,’” he laughs. “To be able to take my music to New Zealand and Australia for the first time? I’m humbled, excited, and deeply grateful.” As he continues to expand his presence across continents, MAJOZI remains anchored by the same sincerity that first endeared him to South African audiences. “At the end of the day, it’s always been about connection,” he reflects. “If someone walks out of a show feeling seen, comforted, or a little less alone, then I’ve done what I came to do.”
The OLD SCHOOL TRI-NATIONS tour is more than a run of shows; it’s a milestone, a reunion, a homecoming, and a brand-new adventure all at once. Fans across South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia are invited to come for the songs, stay for the stories, and step into the next chapter of MAJOZI’s remarkable journey.
