The first feature film based on the globally beloved Miraculous franchise, Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie follows ordinary teenager Marinette, whose life in Paris goes superhuman when she becomes Ladybug. Bestowed with magical powers of creation, Ladybug must unite with her opposite, Cat Noir, to save Paris as a new villain unleashes chaos unto the city.

Synopsis: In this exciting Miraculous origin story set in Paris, we meet a timid young girl named Marinette Dupain-Cheng who is nervous about beginning the school year in a new high school. On her way home, she rescues mystical old man known as Master Fu from being hit by a car. As a result, Fu decided that Marinette is the right person destined to have the magical Miraculous gem, which transforms her into the Lady Bug superhero character. At school, she falls for Adrien, the sheltered son of a famous millionaire designer Gabriel Agreste. Master Fu’s magical gem also transforms Adrian into the superhero Cat Noir. Although they are not aware of each other’s real identities, the duo has to join forces to fight the supervillain Hawk Moth: He is none other than Adrien’s father, who wishes to gain control of the Miraculous gems to bring his wife back to life.

Marinette is hesitant, but a magical yo-yo leads her to the Notre Dame cathedral, where she meets Cat Noir for the first time, and the duo fight a vicious gargoyle that has come to life. A school fair proves to be the perfect backdrop for Hawk Moth’s plan to unleash chaos and destruction over Paris, with the aid of his sidekicks the Magician and the Mime.

Will Lady Bug and Cat Noir be able to save the world from Hawk Moth’s nefarious schemes?

Marinette has to find the courage inside of her to rise to the occasion. Meanwhile, Adrien has fallen in love with Lady Bug and is completely unaware of the fact that the crimefighting superheroine is actually his shy friend from school, Marinette….
