Product Review : Sparkle Gem Art Coaster Set Craft Kit
If you’ve been following me for some time, you’ll know that we get pretty crafty, and I simply can’t resist a cute craft kit.
So, when I saw this Gem art Kit Pep Home, I knew I was going to give it a try.
Originally intending it to be a fun mom and son Craft for Hamish and I to do, I soon realized that I would be doing this on my own. As Hamish was a little more occupied with Minecraft.
The Kit costs R79.99 and comes with:
- 4 coaster designs
- 4 cork backings
- A metal coaster holder
- Application tool
- Wax
- Mini tray to hold the beads
- Different colour beads
To apply, you simply pull off the plastic film on the coaster design.
Dip the applicator tool into the wax and start with the numbered packets of beads, matching those you need to the numbers on the design.
When you are done, peel off the sticker paper from the cork backing and apply to the back of your completed coaster.
This was so much fun to complete and I actually may be addicted.
I did notice while there that Pep Home have a wonderful, small range of pre-packed ready to make craft kits.
These look like so much fun and require minimal crafting skill. They all seemed to be under the R100 mark.
Personally , I’ll be heading back to go and grab a few more kits to keep me busy this christmas season.
