Rocking for cancer
Get your dancing shoes on and join Momma’s Over Matters, a Cape Town Non-Profit Organization (123-339 NPO) for a night to remember as they host a fabulous White Party.
This is event however, is so much more than just another fun evening out, it’s your chance to help give back to those suffering through cancer.
What is Rocking for Cancer
Between 2013 – 2023 ,Rocking For Cancer have held events with the aim to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice, The Sunflower Fund, CHOC, The Breast Care Foundation and Love Your Nuts.
Each successful event was well attended with popular South African celebrities such as Steven Taylor and Katlego Maboa, Sunil Osman, Kia Johnson, Roscoe Pietersen, many local DJs and a host of international celebs.
Alongside these esteemed guests, talented artists such as Ashur Petersen, Don Vino, Salome and Verd Eaton have grace the stages of these past events.
Impressivly, the last Rocking 4 Cancer in 2023 raised over R 10 000 for CHOC. The chosen beneficiary for 2024 is St Luke’s Hospice with the hopes to raise an equally impressive donation.
Rocking for Cancer is a show where artists around Cape Town can unite in the fight against Cancer.
Bands, rappers, singers and dancers gather. Bringing their talents to perform and raise money for the chosen beneficiary.
A night of magic where the Ubuntu spirit truly comes alive and reminds us of the power of unity.
It’s also an evening where those of us, who may feel powerless or not able to make continued donations, can give back and remember a friend, family member or colleague’s battle with cancer and honour them for the small price of a ticket.
