A Winter Wildlife Safari adventure at Centre Point shopping center, Milnerton.

Shout out to one of the cutest activations we’ve attended in a long time. I absolutely love how our shopping malls cater to the kids during the school holidays and even more so when an activation is free for all kids to enjoy and you would actually have paid to experience the entire thing.

Wildlife Safari adventure
This weekend Centrepoint Shopping Centre in Milnerton hosted a Winter Wildlife safari adventure aimed at kids age 4 -13 years old.
Over two days, kids were invited to visit the mall, collect a passport and hunt in the mall for the cutouts of the big 5.

Once they had found each of the animals, they had to take a photo and head back to the activation to fill their passport with stickers.
Finding the animals was so much fun and the 3 kids I had with me ( aged 4 – 8) absolutely loved running about looking for each animal.

After spotting the wildlife, the kids became junior Rangers and entered the wildlife camp, which was beautifully decorated with elephant tusks at the enterance, large wild animals, a cute pink jeep cutouts hidden in a deep forest setting for photos.

I absolutely fell in love with the attention to detail, the large plants, faux grass and hanging vines which gave the impression of being in the jungle. The event company even went as far as placing leaves on the floor. This was truly magical and kids were immediately transported to the jungle.

Once iinsideand seated on small child friendly seats, the kids made their own ranger badge, binoculars and animal mask.

Then it was time for a quick story about caring for our earth. Here children were asked about vocabulary they might not understand and engaged with questions throughout, ensuring that they understood what they were hearing. I love this.

This entire activation was brilliant!
It was fun.
It was engaging.
It was educational
… everything a holiday activity should be.
