Free holiday fun at Bayside mall
These holidays Bayside Mall in Tableview, Cape Town, is bringing all the fun to local kids.
You can join Santa and his friendly Elves at Christmas Town to enjoy hours of fun.
Christmas Town is set up next to Tekkie Town with beautiful Christmas trees and giant gingerbread men watching over it.
Here, your children can enter the magic of Christmas and meet some friendly Elves who are on hand to help them with crafts and baking.
Every day the kids are encouraged to decorate their own Christmas ornament and ice a delicious ice cream cone Christmas tree full of sweets.
The Christmas cone is really sweet and as this is a free event I was impressed with the generosity of the sweet packets and how pretty each Christmas tree cone is packaged before it goes home.
The decoration is a wooden bauble that kids can freely paint, draw or add Googly eyes too.
At Christmas Town kids can also have their photos taken with Santa and write their wish lists.
Hamish loved this and we’ve actually visited on three days. I’m so impressed to see a mall give back to the community with a Free holiday program for the kids.
Not everyone has the budget over Christmas to afford holiday clubs and these free activities allow children who otherwise may not enjoy such Christmas magic, add a few extra memories to their holidays.
From 15 -22 December Bayside mall are hosting free activities for the kids, with added extra fun on selected days from 11am – 4pm.
