Hint Hunt Free Easter Amazing Race
On Easter Sunday we gathered my daughter Kerri and her friend and along with myself, Brent and Hamish, we headed to The V & A Waterfront to join Hint Hunt for their annual free Easter Amazing Race.
Brent, myself and Hamish had joined last year and it was a lot of fun as we tried to beat the clock, answer all the questions and find each new landmark to get the new clue.
So, we knew we were going to join again this year !

Hint Hunt is Africa’s largest, most popular escape room company.
Alongside a fun and exciting Amazing Race experience, they also offer escape room experiences, as well as online and mobile escape room experiences.
Free Easter Amazing Race
The Free Easter Amazing Race experience was offered and capped at 50 teams for each game.
Teams are made up of groups of 2 – 5 players. Each player receives a coloured bib which helps to identify you as you rush about the Waterfront looking for clues.
This interactive. Fast paced, fun game is played on your cell phone and you type each answer in once you’ve solved the clue to receive your next clue.
There are different races, each allows you to explore a different section of the Waterfront.
We did the heritage Hunt and we’re tasked with discovering more about our Cape Town heritage and history through the kabdmarks, buildings, statues and decor along the route.
Once you are completed you log your time, discover your place and join for the prize giving.
I can proudly say that we came 9th out of 50 teams this year …not bad for some oldies!
