Make your own cleaners

Cleaning products cost us hundreds each month, so wouldn’t it be great if we could cut the costs by making our own cleaners?

Here are 7 recipes to make your own cleaners.

1.All purpose cleaner

1/2tsp Dishwashing liquid

2tsp Baking soda

4tblsp White vinegar

400ml warm Water

Pour all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well before use.

2.Dusting spray

2tsp Olive oil

1tsp Lemon juice

1/4 cup White vinegar

1 cup Warm water

Pour all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well before use.

3. Toilet bowl cleaner

1/4 cup Baking soda

1/4 cup Borax

1 cup white vinegar

Place the ingredients directly into the toilet bowl. Mix gently using the toilet brush. Leave to settle for 30 minutes before scrubbing.

4. Glass cleaner

1/4 cup Rubbing alcohol

1/4 cup Vinegar

1tblsp Corn starch

2 cups Warm water

Pour all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well before use.

5. Bathtub cleaner

1/2 Grapefruit

1/4 cup Kosher salt

Place the salt onto half a grapefruit and scrub around the tub. Rinse with warm water.

6. Grout cleaner

1/2 cup Baking soda

1/4 cup Vinegar

Mix together in a small open container to form a paste and apply with toothbrush. Leave for 5 minutes then rinse off with warm water.

7. Granite cleaner

1/2 cup Rubbing alcohol

1tblsp dish washing liquid

2 cups Warm water

Pour all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well before use.
