HOMEMADE DISHWASHER TABLETS
Making dishwasher tablets is so easy. Here is how to make your own
Ingredients:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1 cup washing soda
- 1/2 cup Epsom salt
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 22 drops lemon essential oil
- 2 drops rosemary essential oil
- 3 drops eucalyptus essential oil
- 4 drops cinnamon bark essential oil
Method:
Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
Add the essential oils and mix.
Gradually add the lemon juice while mixing all the ingredients until you achieve a texture similar to damp sand that holds its shape.
Put the mixture into a silicone ice cube mold that is sized to fit your dishwasher detergent tray.
Press down with a spoon each time you add the mixture to the mold to ensure the cubes become solid.
Allow the tablets to dry for about 24 hours.
