Rachel Kolisi Unveils Falling Forward
An Honest and Unfiltered Documentary, Marking a Defining New Chapter

Rachel Kolisi today releases the official preview of Falling Forward, a deeply personal documentary that traces the themes that have shaped her life: identity, loss, healing, motherhood, courage, and the quiet but determined process ofrebuilding.
This documentary is not about divorce, or public speculation. Instead, Falling Forward opens a window into Rachel’s inner world, revealing the moments that challenged her, the truths she had to confront, and the strength she discovered in moving forward even when standing still felt easier.
At its core, this documentary is Rachel’s story, honest, vulnerable, and deeply human. Through sharing it, she hopes women will recognise pieces of themselves in the themes she explores, not because their circumstances are the same, but because the emotional terrain of falling and rising again is something almost every woman knows intimately.
“We all fall,” Rachel says. “But the defining part of our lives is found in how we choose to move forward, even when we don’t feel ready.”

Alongside the preview, Rachel announces the Falling Forward National Roadshow, an immersive experience travelling across South Africa in 2026.
Each stop will reflect a theme from her personal journey, creating spaces that are reflective, grounding, and connective.
Anchored in Rachel’s story, the roadshow also offers women a space to be heard, find common ground, and be reminded that forward motion often happens quietly, even in challenging seasons.
The roadshow will feature a women-led marketplace at every stop, showcasing local female entrepreneurs and small businesses.
More than an event, it is a gathering where women can be seen, supported, and celebrated, fostering both emotional uplift and economic empowerment through shared creativity and connection.

Falling Forward is not about the end of something; it is about what emerges after the fall.
Rachel’s hope is that women across South Africa will walk away feeling less alone, more connected, and more aware of the quiet strength they carry into every chapter of their lives.
“My hope is that women see themselves in the themes,” she says. “Not because our stories are the same, but because we all fall, and yet we keep moving.”
Rachel Kolisi is a South African philanthropist, entrepreneur, creator, and advocate for women. Known for her authenticity and her commitment to purposedriven work, she now enters a new chapter shaped by honesty, resilience, and a vision for creating spaces where women can breathe, exhale, and recognise that they too are falling forward, even when the world cannot see it.
