Time Hoppers
Movie review
We recently took Hamish to watch Time Hoppers at the Blue Route Mall kids cinema.
I absolutely love this cinema, with its specially designed fun and entertaining space for kids and young families to enjoy the movies.
Kids cinema
As we entered the cinema there were large Smurf theme claw machines and photo booths for added fun which Brent and Hamish tried whilst I stood in the line to grab our snacks.
Near to the cinema is a small games room with arcade type games and kid sized table and chair sets.
The actual kids cinema is brightly decorated with a large slide and ball pit. Chairs seem wider and the kids are allowed to make noise, shuffle in those seats and run about.
About the movie
Time Hoppers was such a great movie and defenitly one to watch with older school going kids as it follows the adventures of four gifted children from Vancouver’ Aqli Academy in the year 2050.
When Abdullah, Aysha, Khalid and Leyla stumble upon the ability to Time travel, they are thrust into an adventure along the historic silk road to save the great scientists of that era from an evil Time- travelling alchemist named Fasid.
The movie explores if the time travelers are able to save the foundation of modern science and return home.
Why we enjoyed this movie?
Time Hoppers is a great movie choice for kids because it mixes fun, adventure, and learning in an age-appropriate way for middle school children.
The story is full of action and adventure that holds a child’s interest without being too scary or confusing.
The plot is simple and clear, so your children can follow along and enjoy the storyline.
The movie teaches important lessons like teamwork, friendship, problem-solving, and taking responsibility for your actions.
By traveling to different times, kids are introduced to history and imagination, which can spark curiosity and learning.
Most importantly Time Hoppers is good for the whole family. There is no inappropriate language or intense violence, making it safe even for younger audiences.
The characters are relatable and likable, helping your chikd to connect emotionally with the story.
Overall, Time Hoppers is entertaining, safe, and meaningful, making it a good movie for kids to enjoy whilst also learning about positive values.
