Sweet Studio at Tablebay mall
Each year we look out for fun baking and cooking activities for the holidays and these holidays Hamish has had the best time at the Sweet Studio at Table Bay Mall making his own biscuit house.
The Sweet Studio
Situated in the centre court of the mall, children can step into a life-sized, beautifully decorated candy cottage at the Sweet House Studio.
Here fairy tales come to life and little hands get to create edible magic with a cute biscuit house kit.
Each kit includes :
A base board to work on
A pre- baked Gingerbread biscuit house
2 packets of icing
Packet of assorted sweets
Kitted out with his baking apron and biscuit house kit, Hamish set out with all of his Tastemaster flare to build and decorate his very own fairy tale cookie cottage.
Along the way the baking assistants gave clear and easy to follow directions, encouraging the Young bakers and lending a hand where needed.
The entire process took about 30 minutes and houses were boxed in large cake boxes ready for the kids to take home and share with their moms and dads.
Things to know
Booking is essential as these activities sell out really quickly or your time slot may be fully booked and you’ll need to wait for the next open time slot.
The Sweet Studio is in Tablebay mall from 28 June – 5 July
Sessions are daily from 10AM – 2PM
Cost R80 per child (includes all materials)
