It’s almost Easter and Food Lovers Market have you covered with their cute and delicious The Hoppery collection.
With every thing from giant Easter bunnies to delicious hot cross buns, Food Lovers have thought of it all to add a bit of magic and a lot of love to your Easter weekend.
The Hoppery range
I’m loving the bright Easter hunt bags which are big enough to store all the Easter eggs the Easter bunny leaves this year. Hamish immediately fell in love with the white bunny on the front.
Some of our other favourites are :
- Large foil wrapped Easter bunny hallow egg. I’m adding this one to our table as a centre piece for Easter lunch.
- Candy coated hallow eggs, which are great to paint on with food colouring.
- Milk chocolate mallow eggs, that will be perfect to hide for those Easter morning egg hunts.
- Giant Easter lolly pop. I really like these to add to our table as place names or to pop into the plants as markers where the kids can hunt for eggs
- And the meringue sweet kisses for that small but sweet treat with afternoon coffee.
- Vanilla iced biscuit baking kit . Making Easter biscuits together is a wonderful bonding experience and a fun family tradition to start.
- And last but not least, this adorable The Hoppery reusable Easter bunny jar full of speckled eggs, which are Hamish’s favourite treat. These would be a wonderful suprise for the kids at the Easter lunch table.
Hot cross buns
Don’t forget the hot cross buns! It isn’t Easter if you haven’t enjoyed hot cross buns as a breakfast, lunch, supper and tea time treat.
I love to make a breakfast buns and hot cross buns bread pudding with mine and there some delicious recipes out there for using these versatile buns. However, toasted or plain they are equally as delightful made into a meal or desert or simply eaten plain with some butter.
Food lovers had 2 packets for under R40 yesterday and I bought both the plain and chocolate variety.
So pop down to Food Lovers Market and grab all your favourite treats for Easter.
