Next month we will see our beloved Bokke battle it out in the Rugby World Cup and as the mom of a rugby crazy six year old I’ve been on the hunt to find the best Springbok Rugby fashion for him to show his support to our home team.
If you are looking for some great rugby gear for your kids, here’s a list of where you can buy the best Springbok licensed bags, shirts, shorts, shoes and caps and add a little team support and game day “gees” to your children’s wardrobe.
Where to shop Springbok fashion for kids
1. SA rugby shop
https://sarugbyshop.co.za/kids/ is the official Sprinboks online store and they stock a large assortment of adult and children’s merchandise.
2. Sportsman’s warehouse
https://www.sportsmanswarehouse.co.za/brands/springbok/ have some junior t-shirts, including the new away kit ( which is stunning!) and some fun items like caps, temporary tattoos and rugby ball keyring for the kids.
3. Edgar’s
I was in Edgars yesterday and I’m loving the Springbok and rugby inspired designs on the kids t-shirts. They also have a fun range for kids under 6 years old starting at R75.
4. Ackerman
Also loving the Ackermans Bokkie inspired range for kids. Most of these are aimed at children under the age of 6 years, but you will find bags, t-shirt and shorts all with our cute Bokkie mascot on. I couldn’t resist and bought Hamish a backpack.
5.Checkers
Checkers have a range of green and gold t-shirts for adults and kids at really affordable prices.
6. Pick n Pay clothing
I personally love the Springbok range at Pick n Pay. It’s super affordable and has the widest selection for the whole family. I grabbed a track top and shirt for Hamish from this range and the quality is great.
You can also grab a few more items than at the other stores ….
Things like :
- Kids pajamas
- SA rugby scarves and beanies
- Baby growers
- Flip flops with Bokkie on
7. Pep stores
I’m not going to lie, I always love Pep stores Prices and find their kids clothing on point with the local trends. They haven’t missed the memo with the world cup either and have the cutest range of Bokkie inspired rugby clothing, shoes, bags and caps for younger kids and yesterday I also found some Rugby inspired t-shirts at R80 each for older kids ( 7 +)
Life is expensive and it’s great to see our retailers not only joining local trends and supporting our guys in green and gold but also understanding the economy and bringing the consumer affordable, fashionable, good quality branded clothing.
Thank you for info. My grandson had his 14th birthday today. He is in Brisbane Australia and I would love get him a Springbok shirt. So will go look at the various stores recommended.
