3 awesome winter activities in Cape Town

Day 25 of the #blogbosswinterblogchallenge is winter activities in my townCape town is known as low season during winter, making many attractions and activities much less busy with fewer tourists and queues.

1.whales

For me the number 1 winter activity would be whale watching in Hermanus. The peak calving season for whales is between July and September offering you a higher chance of watching whales swimming in the lcean either from shore or by boat.

2. Flowers

Each year between August and September tourists and locals alike travel to the West Coast National park to witness the beautiful carpets of bright flora.

3. Read

And lastly, Winter is a great time to grab a new book and cuddle under a warm blanket.Join your local library or take a visit to our beautiful library in the heart of the CBD.You could also pop in and spend some time in one of the many cosy book shops like The book lounge, Clarke’s Bookshop and Kalk bay bookshop. On top of these there are so many great options as Cape Town really does cater for everyone.
