Die Pophuis selfsorg gastehuis – review

We had the most amazing stay at Die Pophuis selfsorg gastehuis in Aberdeen, Eastern Cape during April.

Not only was the host, Erica, accomadating to us arriving late and booking last minute but her hospitality left us feeling like we has just returned home.

Such a beautifully decorated little Karoo house situated in a quiet street with a garden, patio and braai area to enjoy.

With 2 bedrooms which are fully equipped for kids ( and pets) , a fully fitted kitchen, lounge and dining area, this is the perfect stay for families. ( Also their rates are super affordable)

The best for me was the message letting us know loadshedding times and to be careful of Kudu on the road, and a message to drive safe in the morning.

There is even candles and gas stove with kettle to keep you comfortable during losdshedding times.

Towels and linen are provided and there is the security of parking your car under cover and a locked gate for the property.

The perfect escape from the city. Bookings can be made through Booking.com
