For Earth day I wanted to see how much of an impact my teachings had on my children.
I found a list of questions to ask them and I was quite suprised by some of their answers.
I invite you to interview your children ….this is a fun eye opening experience.

Meet Kerri
She is 15 years old. Kerri is at High school and is involved in both choir and first aid. She is a new Ranger with the Girl guides.

- What’s your favourite place in the world to visit? Butterfly world
- What’s one thing you can recycle? Paper
- What’s your favourite thing to do outside? Go for a walk with my friends
- What’s your favourite way to celebrate Earth day? We celebrated Earth day this year cleaning the beach
- What day do we celebrate Earth day? Not sure of the date, last weekend.
- What’s one thing we can do as a family to have less trash? Eat less stuff with plastic on it.

- What’s something we can do as a family to make the earth more beautiful? Plant more trees and flowers
- What plant foods do you most like to eat? Tomatoes
- Name some foods that come from the Earth. Vegetables, herbs and fruit
- What colour is the recycling symbol? Green
- Name a song that talks about the Earth. I don’t know
- What is your favourite kind of animal? Cat or a hamster
- What colour is the Earth from space? Blue
- Why is it important to care for the Earth? Because we rely on the Earth to live, so we won’t be healthy if the Earth isn’t healthy.
- What is your favourite thing to do in the water? Bath
- If you could have one animal as a pet, what would it be? Hamster
- What’s your favourite kind of flower? Daffodils
- What is your favourite season and why? Summer, it’s warm.
- Where do you think all the trash we collect on the beach goes? To a dump.
