Make your own terrarium at Cavendish Square

Yesterday, Hamish and I had the most amazing time making our own succulent terrariums at Cavendish square.

We arrived at the gorgeously decorated Truworths Court ready to put our gardening knowledge to the test.

Friendly assistants welcomed us to a floral wonderland as we took our place at beautiful long white tables, decorated with all the things we would need to create our masterpieces.

Guided by a quick explanation and an assistant at hand, we started to build our terrarium levels…. stones, sand, soil, plants.

I especially loved that the bowls had a sticker on to indicate where each level should be and that we were given a little card with instructions and how to care for our terrariums.

Everyone is given 3 succulents to use. I loved the wide variety, and Hamish and I split our plants, so we ended up with 6 little cacti each.

Once you have gently placed your plants into the bowl, you can decorate with pretty stones and moss before spritzing with water.

This was so much fun!

Afterward, you can also grab some great photos with mom at the luxurious couch underneath the white bloom tree or with the great big MOM sign.

From 8 May until 13 May, you can treat mom and plant the most beautiful succulent terrariums for only R50

You will also receive a goody bag of treats to spoil mom with.
