Yesterday, we excitedly jumped into the car and headed to the Build a bear #Bestfunever Roadshow at Cavendish Square.
We arrived at the mall and headed straight to the centre court where a beautifully decorated build station was waiting with friendly staff, a large assortment of bears and accessories and all of the holiday ambiance to make a child’s holiday just that little extra special.
Hamish, after much deliberation because how do you choose just one bear?, chose a beautiful little white bear to add to his best bear friends.
Then it was time to pick out an outfit and bring his fury pal to life with a cuddle test, wish and magic heart.

No matter how many times we build a bear, this is still my favourite part of the process. I love watching the pure innocence and childhood magic as Hamish picks the perfect heart, closes his eyes and wishes a little magic.
And then once his new bear was scented, fluffed and had a heart, he was sewn up ….ready to be dressed and loved.
A smart choice of some undies and a t-shirt and Hamish and Cuddle went off to get his bear birth certificate.
You also have the option of a cardboard bear house when leaving and these are fabulous to use as a second activity by getting the kids to colour and decorate the bear homes. We chose not to take one.
What really stood out for me was the cute balloon photo opportunities and the bear whiteboard where kids are encouraged to write their names and take a photo with their new bear friends.
There was an enormously happy little boy cuddling his new bear all the way home.
Build a bear roadshow
For your own adventure, take the kids down to Cavendish centre between 26 June – 11 July 2023 to enjoy #themostfunever at the Build a bear roadshow.
Here they can bring their new best bear friend to life with lots of hugs and kisses.
The Roadshow times are:
Monday – Saturday 9am – 7pm
Sunday 9am – 5pm
