“Paint the Town Yellow”: Shincheonji and Western Cape Blood Services Unite for Lifesaving Blood Drive
Shincheonji Volunteers is spearheading a vital initiative to address the ongoing blood crisis. Under the theme “Paint the Town Yellow,” this joint effort aims to encourage donors to participate through their respective blood banks.This event not only signifies a united effort to address the ongoing blood crisis but also underscores the power of community collaboration in saving lives.
Amidst a global blood shortage, Shincheonji Church has been at the forefront of organizing blood drives to serve the community and offer support to those in need. The upcoming event on the 14th of April is part of a series of initiatives undertaken by the church to assist the Western Cape Blood Services in combating the pressing issue of blood scarcity.
“We are deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others,” says Nic Ngcobo, spokesperson for Shincheonji Volunteers. “Through our ‘Paint the Town Yellow’ blood drive, we aim to rally individuals from all walks of life to join us in this lifesaving endeavor. Together, we can make a difference.”
In support of the event, the office of the Western Cape Premier and organizers are issuing a call to action for residents to visit their nearest blood bank and donate. Every donation has the potential to make a life-changing difference for patients in need of blood transfusions, with oa single donation being able to save up to 3 lives
